This medication is used for the treatment of essential hypertension, particularly when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of telmisartan and additional administration is required for more effective blood pressure management.

How to take

Adult dose

For patients not adequately controlled with monotherapy of telmisartan, this medication should be taken once daily with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to adjust the dosage of each component individually before switching to this fixed-dose combination medication. When clinically appropriate, a direct switch from monotherapy to this medication may also be considered. - Telmisartan / Hydrochlorothiazide

Child dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established in children under 18 years of age, so it should not be administered.

Precautions

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it may cause serious problems to the fetus or newborn.
