Relief of swelling (inflammation, post-injury or surgery)
This medication helps alleviate symptoms of inflammation accompanied by swelling and reduces the swelling that occurs after trauma or surgery. It aids in improving the discomfort of swelling and pain for patients, facilitating quicker recovery.
As bromelain, take 100 mg at a time, twice a day. Take it with water 30 minutes before meals.
Children over 12 years old should take the same dosage as adults.
This medication should not be taken by patients with severe blood clotting disorders, such as those with hemophilia. Patients with severe liver disease or kidney disease, especially those on dialysis, should not take this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should use caution, as combining this medication may increase the risk of bleeding. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised not to take this medication because its safety has not been established. Children under 12 years old should not take this medication. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Before taking this drug, it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist if antibiotics, particularly tetracycline antibiotics, are being used. This medication contains a pigment called Yellow No. 5, so patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should take it with caution. If any hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes or itching occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and healthcare professionals should be consulted. It is also necessary to stop taking the medication and consult an expert if gastrointestinal symptoms, such as stomach pain or diarrhea, develop. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, and medications should not be transferred from their original container to another container, as this can pose a risk of misuse or degradation of quality, so it must be stored in the original container with the lid tightly closed.
