This medication is used for patients who require combined administration of Olmesartan Medoxomil and Rosuvastatin. Olmesartan Medoxomil is effective in controlling blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct in patients with hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia when not controlled by diet and exercise, and it especially lowers hypercholesterolemia, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, this medication helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, thereby decreasing the risks associated with stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization procedures. Therefore, this medication is used for the treatment of patients with concurrent hypertension and dyslipidemia.
