This medication is used for patients who require both Olmesartan Medoxomil and Rosuvastatin administered together. Olmesartan Medoxomil is effective in the treatment of essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct to dietary therapy for several lipid disorders including hypercholesterolemia and combined hyperlipidemia. Additionally, it helps to slow the progression of atherosclerosis in patients with hypercholesterolemia and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. This medication also contributes to lowering the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization. Therefore, it is used for the management of hypertension and hyperlipidemia and for reducing cardiovascular disease risk.
