This medication contains two components, Olmesartan Medoxomil and Rosuvastatin, and is used for patients who need to manage both hypertension and dyslipidemia simultaneously. Olmesartan Medoxomil helps treat essential hypertension, which is hypertension without an identifiable cause. Meanwhile, Rosuvastatin improves lipid disorders such as hypercholesterolemia and is used as an adjunct when management through diet and exercise alone is insufficient. This ingredient plays a significant role in slowing the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is particularly effective in reducing the risk of recurrence after strokes, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization procedures. Therefore, this medication is used to improve the condition of patients with both hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
