Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Patients with essential hypertension can be treated with either amlodipine or olmesartan medoxomil alone. This medication is used when blood pressure is not adequately controlled. The two drugs effectively manage hypertension by either dilating blood vessels or inhibiting blood pressure increases. As a result, they help stabilize blood pressure and reduce the risk of complications. This treatment method is used for the improvement of hypertension.
