Therefore, it helps to quickly improve symptoms of inflammation and itching. Thanks to these effects, it is widely prescribed for various skin disorders responsive to corticosteroids. Consequently, it is useful for stabilizing skin conditions and enhancing the quality of life of patients.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with certain skin infections. For example, symptoms may worsen if there is a skin infection caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or a history of allergic reactions should also not use this product. Additionally, it should not be administered to patients with otitis externa who have tympanic membrane perforation, areas with ulcers or severe burns, patients with perioral dermatitis or common acne, patients with pruritus around the anus or genital area, and in infants under 2 years of age. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, children, and the elderly should exercise special caution when using this medication and should use it carefully under the direction of a physician. Using this medication may cause skin infections and can result in various skin symptoms such as folliculitis, skin irritation, itching, and rashes. Prolonged or excessive use may lead to side effects such as skin thinning or vascular dilation, so if symptoms occur, use should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. Furthermore, since this medication contains corticosteroids, systemic side effects such as suppression of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, Cushing's syndrome, and elevated blood sugar levels may occur if absorbed systemically, so when used on large areas or with occlusive dressings, regular check-ups and caution are necessary. Care should be taken when using it around the eyes, as there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma, and it should not be used for ophthalmic purposes. In principle, this medication should not be used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infection, but if it must be used, it is advisable to use it in conjunction with appropriate antimicrobials or antifungals. Pregnant or nursing women should only use this medication if absolutely necessary and for the minimum effective dose and duration, as its use may affect the fetus or newborn. Children are at a higher risk for side effects than adults, so it should not be used for prolonged periods exceeding 3 weeks, and special caution should be taken for areas such as those covered by diapers where occlusive dressing effects may occur. Elderly individuals may experience adverse reactions more readily, so they should be monitored by a physician when using it in large quantities or over extended periods. This medication should not be used for cosmetic purposes or after shaving, and occlusive dressings should not be used without a doctor's instruction. Lastly, this medication should be kept out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
