This medication is used to relieve edema and inflammation symptoms and to reduce swelling that occurs after trauma or surgery.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 100mg of bromelain once, twice a day. Take it with water 30 minutes before meals.

Child dose

Children aged 12 years and older should take the same dosage as adults.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with severe blood coagulation disorders, such as hemophilia. Additionally, patients with severe liver disease or kidney disease, especially those undergoing dialysis, should not take this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents should exercise caution as there may be an increased risk of bleeding when taken with this medication. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid this medication as its safety has not been established. This medication should not be administered to children under 12 years of age. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used in patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients receiving antibiotics, particularly tetracycline antibiotics, must consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication, as the effects of the antibiotic may be enhanced. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 5, so individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should take it with caution. If symptoms of hypersensitivity such as skin rash or itching occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Additionally, gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain or diarrhea may rarely occur, so if these symptoms arise, discontinue use and consult a physician. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, and should be kept in the original container to avoid misuse or degradation in quality.
