  • androgenetic alopecia
View approved original text

This medication is used to treat male pattern baldness in adult males, particularly those aged between 18 and 41 years, specifically androgenetic alopecia. Male pattern baldness primarily occurs due to genetic factors and the actions of male hormones, and this drug helps support healthy hair growth and slows the progression of hair loss. With consistent use, improvements in hair loss symptoms and increased hair density are expected. Therefore, it is recommended for those struggling with hair loss to manage it reliably.
