While taking this medication, it is better not to take it with drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids. Do not take it simultaneously with levodopa medication. Individuals undergoing treatment with a doctor or women who are pregnant or could become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and children should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Those with heart or circulatory problems or impaired kidney functions, as well as individuals with low protein levels in their blood, should also consult a professional before taking this medication. Also, if menstrual cycles become more frequent or bleeding lasts longer than expected, immediate professional care should be sought. Women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or individuals at risk of thrombosis should be cautious, as taking vitamin E may increase the risk of thrombosis. Long-term administration of high doses of pyridoxine (500 mg to 2 g daily) may cause nerve abnormalities, so caution is needed. High doses may worsen peptic ulcers, cause blood sugar control issues, elevate uric acid levels, and lead to liver damage. If this medication is overdosed or if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, consult a doctor immediately. Caution is needed when taken with medications such as aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, as potassium levels in the blood may rise. This medication must be taken as prescribed regarding the dosage and usage. During use, urine may turn yellow, which may affect clinical test results, so this should be noted.
