This medication helps relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing due to colds, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. It also alleviates discomfort such as tearing, sore throat, and heavy head sensation. It effectively improves these symptoms to help patients lead more comfortable lives. Therefore, it is used for the relief of various symptoms associated with acute rhinitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults aged 15 years and older take 1 tablet three times a day after meals. Doses should be spaced at least 4 hours apart.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by infants under 3 months old. Individuals who have previously shown allergic reactions to this medicine or its components should also not take it. Breastfeeding women should either not take this medicine or stop breastfeeding. Additionally, those currently taking or who have stopped taking specific antidepressants or antipsychotics known as MAO inhibitors within the past 2 weeks should not use this medicine. This medicine contains lactose, so patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. During treatment, do not take other rhinitis medications or cold medicines that contain antihistamines, cough suppressants, anti-motion sickness drugs, or allergy medications, and avoid topical preparations containing diphenhydramine. Children aged 3 months to under 2 years should take it after consulting a doctor, and infants under 2 years should not take it unless absolutely necessary. Additionally, people with a history of allergies or previous drug allergy symptoms, as well as those with heart or liver diseases, tendency to bleed, glaucoma, or difficulties urinating should consult a specialist before use. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, elderly persons, and those currently undergoing treatment should also definitely consult medical professionals before taking this medicine. Particularly, smokers or those with respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, or coughing that lasts longer than a week, or coughing accompanied by high fever or rashes should take caution. If you experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, rashes, itching, or difficulties urinating while taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Also, if symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, stop taking it and seek advice from a professional. This medicine must be taken as directed regarding dosage and frequency, and it is advisable not to use it continuously for a long period. Drowsiness may occur during use, so avoid driving or operating machinery, and refrain from alcohol consumption. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Additionally, do not transfer it to another container.
