View approved original text

This medication is used as an adjunct to reduce elevated triglyceride levels in patients with endogenous hypertriglyceridemia. It can be administered alone for hypertriglyceridemia (Type IV) and in combination with statins for mixed hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia (Type IIb). Additionally, it can be used together with statin medications in patients with uncontrolled triglyceride levels to enhance efficacy. Through this, it helps improve blood lipid levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, it is actively used to treat diseases related to hyperlipidemia.
