Treatment of peripheral arterial circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and cognitive impairments (tinnitus, headaches, etc.)
This medication is used to treat intermittent claudication, a symptom of peripheral arterial circulation disorder that causes occasional limping. It also helps improve symptoms such as dizziness and vascular or degenerative tinnitus. Furthermore, it alleviates cognitive impairment symptoms related to dementia, including tinnitus, headaches, memory loss, decreased concentration, feelings of depression, and dizziness, thereby improving overall brain health. Therefore, this medication is effective in treating various symptoms related to blood circulation and brain function.
1. Adults 1) Peripheral arterial circulation disorder, dizziness, tinnitus: Take 40 mg of Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract three times a day or 80 mg twice a day orally. 2) Organic cognitive disorder: Take 40-80 mg of Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract three times a day or 120 mg twice a day orally. 2. Adjust dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to certain components. Its safety has not been sufficiently verified in children under 12 years of age, so it should not be used. Pregnant women must consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. This medication contains lactose, and individuals with a genetic condition that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. Patients with bleeding problems or those taking blood-thinning medications must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Nursing mothers are also advised to consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Those who have had an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to Yellow No. 4 should avoid this medication. Persons scheduled for surgery should stop taking this medication and consult with a healthcare provider, and they should also consult with a professional if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months of use. Rarely, gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and allergic skin reactions may occur during use, with reports of dizziness or itching. If a severe allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult with a healthcare provider. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, so individuals with high blood pressure should not use it.
