This medication helps treat peripheral arterial circulation disorders, specifically intermittent claudication. It is also used to alleviate dizziness and vascular or degenerative tinnitus, i.e., ear ringing symptoms. Additionally, it is effective for treating organic brain function disorders accompanied by dementia-related symptoms such as tinnitus, headache, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depression, and dizziness. Overall, it aids in improving blood circulation and brain function, contributing to the quality of life of patients.
Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus (ear ringing): 40 mg of Ginkgo Biloba Extract, taken orally 3 times a day or 80 mg taken orally 2 times a day. Organic brain function disorders: 40-80 mg of Ginkgo Biloba Extract, taken orally 3 times a day or 120 mg taken orally 2 times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to certain ingredients. Children under 12 years of age should preferably avoid this medication due to insufficient experience with it. Pregnant women should exercise caution due to a lack of sufficient evidence supporting the safety of this medication during pregnancy. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic inability to break down lactose should avoid taking it. Those with bleeding disorders or who are taking anticoagulant medications must consult a doctor before using this medication. Nursing mothers should consult an expert regarding the lack of information on whether this medication is transmitted through breast milk. Individuals scheduled for surgery should stop taking this medication and consult medical staff. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking the medication for more than three months, it should be discontinued, and a doctor should be consulted. While taking this medication, mild digestive discomfort, headache, or allergic skin reactions may rarely occur. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching may also occur, so caution is advised. Severe allergic reactions have been rarely reported; if any abnormal symptoms occur, immediate consultation with medical staff is advised. This medication is not an antihypertensive agent, so hypertensive patients should avoid taking it unless special treatment is necessary. Keep out of reach of children, and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
