Precautions

This medicine can cause liver function abnormalities, leading to increased liver enzymes or jaundice. If these symptoms occur, you should stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical attention. This medicine contains zinc, which can interfere with copper absorption. Therefore, it may lead to anemia or blood disorders due to copper deficiency, and appropriate treatment is necessary if symptoms arise. If allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or hives occur during treatment, the medication should be stopped immediately. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, abdominal bloating, vomiting, heartburn, and diarrhea have been reported. It's advisable to consult a doctor if these symptoms occur. In domestic clinical trials and post-marketing studies, serious adverse reactions such as cerebral infarction, seizures, bleeding, and exacerbation of pancreatitis were rarely reported, but the direct relationship with this medicine is not clear. Caution should be taken as this medicine may reduce the effectiveness of penicillamine or levothyroxine sodium when taken together, so avoid taking them concurrently. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medicine if the benefits of treatment are judged to outweigh the risks, and nursing mothers should avoid it as the drug may be transmitted through breast milk. Safety in children has not been established, and there is no experience with use, while the elderly may have reduced digestive function, so caution should be taken with reduced dosage. This medicine should be kept out of the reach of children, and transferring it to other containers is important to maintain quality.
