This medication is used to relieve uncomfortable symptoms such as heartburn caused by excessive stomach acid, discomfort and bloating of the upper abdomen, indigestion leading to nausea and vomiting, and stomach pain along with belching.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 tablet three times a day.

Precautions

It is very important not to take this medication if you have certain conditions. For example, people who have had an allergic reaction to this medication, are undergoing kidney dialysis treatment, or have high levels of magnesium or phosphate in their blood should avoid taking it. Additionally, individuals with severe constipation or bowel obstruction, those with acute appendicitis, women in the first three months of pregnancy, and children under 7 years of age should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics. If you are taking other medications, be sure to consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
