This medication may mask symptoms of stomach cancer, so it is advisable to use it temporarily for symptom relief only. Avoid taking it with alcoholic beverages, and consult a professional if there are changes in physical functions after administration. Patients undergoing hemodialysis should be cautious when taking this medication in combination with phosphate binders, as this may reduce the effectiveness of calcium preparations.
