Efficacy & effects

Improves blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

The combination of amlodipine and olmesartan medoxomil is used to effectively lower blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who have difficulty controlling blood pressure with these two medications alone. These drugs help lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels and reducing cardiovascular risk. The use of the combination improves blood pressure control and contributes to the prevention of complications.
