This medication is effective in treating intermittent claudication due to peripheral artery circulation disorders. It also helps alleviate dizziness and vascular and degenerative tinnitus (ringing in the ears). It is used to treat organic brain function disorders associated with dementia symptoms, tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depressive feelings, and dizziness. Overall, it helps improve blood circulation and support brain function to alleviate symptoms.
For adults, for the treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorders, dizziness, and tinnitus (ringing in the ears), the dosage of Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract is 40mg orally three times a day or 80mg orally twice a day. For the treatment of organic brain function disorders, the dosage is 40mg to 80mg orally three times a day or 120mg orally twice a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to certain components. Children under 12 years old should not use this medication due to insufficient research on its safety and efficacy. Pregnant women are advised to avoid taking this medication as there is insufficient data on its safety. Patients with genetic conditions that impair lactose digestion should not take this medication due to the lactose it contains. Patients on medications that affect bleeding disorders or blood coagulation should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. Breastfeeding women should consult with a professional before taking this medication as it is uncertain whether it is transmitted through breast milk. If surgery is planned, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. If the symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking this medication for more than three months, it should be stopped immediately and a professional should be consulted. Rarely, gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and skin allergic reactions may occur, so if there are any unusual symptoms, the medication should be discontinued and advice sought. Caution is needed as side effects such as dizziness or itching have been reported. Severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may occur; if symptoms appear, medical attention should be sought immediately.
