This medicine contains phosphate, which has been very rarely reported to pose a risk of calcification in the cornea for patients with severe corneal damage. It is advisable not to wear contact lenses while the eyes are red. The preservative components in this medicine may settle on soft contact lenses, so individuals wearing lenses should wait at least 5 minutes after instilling this medication before putting on their lenses. This is a non-sedating antihistamine that may cause temporary blurriness of vision after use, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Patients with seasonal allergies should start using this medicine before symptoms begin and continue using it until symptoms cease. The safety and efficacy in children under 2 years old have not been established, and use is not recommended. No special precautions are needed for the elderly, and there is no difference from younger individuals. Care should be taken not to let the tip of the container come into direct contact with the eye during use, and the cap should be tightly closed when not in use to prevent contamination. This medicine should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight. It should not be transferred to another container as this may change its quality.
