This medication is used to treat pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, periarthritis of the shoulder, lumbago, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 200 mg once daily as Aseclofenac. This drug should be taken whole, without chewing or crushing. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions associated with this medication, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day, so it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. Taking this medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular or cerebrovascular problems, so patients with risk factors for cardiovascular disease should carefully consider whether to take it. It can cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, and the risk is even higher in the elderly, so gastrointestinal symptoms should be carefully monitored during use. It should not be taken by individuals with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, or those allergic to this medication or similar drugs.
