Precautions

This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. This medication is used to improve gastrointestinal symptoms, but side effects such as nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and vomiting may occur in some patients. It may affect liver function, so if severe hepatitis or jaundice symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash, hives, or swelling may occur, and abnormal findings may appear in blood tests. Neurological symptoms such as dizziness, headache, and fatigue have also been reported, so monitor your physical condition closely. Pregnant women and women who may become pregnant should only take this medication if the treatment benefit outweighs the risk, and it's recommended to avoid it during breastfeeding or to stop breastfeeding. Safety in children has not been established, so it is preferable not to use it in children. Elderly individuals may have reduced renal and liver function, so careful monitoring of their condition during use is necessary, and dosage adjustments should be made if needed. This medication may increase blood concentration if taken with food, so it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach. If taken with anticholinergic drugs, the effect of this medication may be reduced, so take care to space out dosages. Finally, store it out of reach of children and do not transfer it to other containers for safety and quality preservation.
