Relief of symptoms of candidiasis
Candidiasis is a type of vaginitis caused by the fungus Candida. This condition is characterized by itching, increased discharge, and thick, clumpy pink or white discharge. The medication is used to alleviate these symptoms and treat the infection. Using an appropriate medication for candidiasis can lead to rapid recovery and symptom improvement. Therefore, it is used for candidiasis.
100 mg: Insert 100 mg of clotrimazole deeply into the vagina at bedtime once daily for 6 consecutive days. Temporary therapy: Insert 200 mg of clotrimazole deeply into the vagina at bedtime once daily for 3 consecutive days. 200 mg: Insert 200 mg of clotrimazole deeply into the vagina at bedtime once daily for 3 consecutive days. 500 mg: Insert 500 mg of clotrimazole deeply into the vagina at bedtime once daily.
This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to the active ingredient or any other components. During the use of this medication, it should not be taken concurrently with immunosuppressive agents such as tacrolimus or sirolimus. Co-administration with this medication may increase the concentration of those drugs in the bloodstream, thereby raising the risk of side effects. Therefore, thorough monitoring by a physician and blood tests are necessary. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before using this medication. Although animal studies did not show any teratogenic or reproductive anomalies, it should be used according to a physician’s guidance during pregnancy, and the use of insertion devices when applying vaginal tablets should be avoided. Nursing women should also consult a physician before using this medication. While it acts locally and the possibility of transferring to breast milk is low, it is advisable to consult a specialist for safety. If allergic reactions, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, abdominal pain, nausea, skin rash, itching, vaginal bleeding or discomfort, irritation or pain at the application site occur during use, immediately discontinue use and consult medical personnel. It is preferable not to use this medication during menstruation, and additional treatment may be required for specific vaginitis. Also, paying attention to personal hygiene, frequently changing and washing towels and underwear can help prevent reinfection. During the course of this medication, it is advisable to avoid using tampons, vaginal douches, other vaginal insertion products, and vaginal intercourse. Care should be taken as the infection can be transmitted to partners during intercourse. Take care not to get this medication in the eyes and absolutely do not swallow it. If symptoms such as high fever, lower abdominal pain, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, nausea, vaginal bleeding occur, consult a doctor immediately. There is no specific antidote for overdose, but in case of accidental ingestion of a large amount, emergency measures such as gastric lavage may be necessary. This medication may weaken latex or rubber condoms or vaginal contraceptive diaphragms, so care should be taken when using it. This medication is for vaginal use only and should not be taken orally. It is recommended for use by children over 12 years and adults only. Store this medication out of the reach of children, and keep it in its original container in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
