Adult dose

Adults: Initial dose of 140 mg of silymarin (or 60 mg of silibinin) 3 times a day. Maintenance dose of 70 mg (or 30 mg of silibinin) 3 times a day or 140 mg (or 60 mg of silibinin) 2 times a day.

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe bile duct obstruction, individuals who are hypersensitive to this medication, and children under 12 years of age. Pregnant or nursing women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as abdominal pain or diarrhea occur during use or if an allergic reaction is suspected, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional.
