Precautions

This medication contains lactose and should not be used by patients with genetic disorders that inhibit lactose digestion. Gastrointestinal side effects may occur with the use of this medication, and symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort may arise. Since it may affect liver function, if there are symptoms of liver dysfunction, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Allergic reactions such as rashes or hives may occur, so caution is advised. This medication may cause drowsiness, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. If gastrointestinal symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks, long-term use is not recommended. Taking this medication with food may increase its blood concentration, so it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach if possible. When taken with anticholinergics, the effectiveness of this medication may decrease, so when using both medications, the dosage interval must be adjusted. If breastfeeding, it is safer to avoid administering this medication or, if unavoidable, to discontinue breastfeeding.
