Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with a genetic disorder that prevents the digestion of lactose because it contains lactose. During the use of this medication, abnormal reactions such as nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur in the gastrointestinal system, so consult a healthcare professional if symptoms appear. It may affect liver function, and if symptoms of hepatitis or jaundice appear, immediately discontinue use and seek medical attention. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes and hives may occur, so caution is needed if these symptoms develop. If symptoms do not improve after a certain period of use, it is advisable to avoid long-term use. Taking this medication with food may increase the drug concentration in the blood, so it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach. Concomitant use with anticholinergics may reduce the effectiveness of this medication, so a time interval should be observed. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should only use this medication when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, and nursing mothers should avoid use or discontinue breastfeeding. Safety for children has not been confirmed, so it is advisable not to use it in pediatric patients. Elderly patients may have reduced kidney and liver function, so attention is needed during use, and measures such as reducing dosage should be taken if adverse reactions occur. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided as it may affect quality.
