Relief of obesity, edema, constipation, and symptoms accompanying hypertension (palpitations, etc.)
Patients with excessive subcutaneous fat in the abdomen and constipation may experience symptoms such as palpitations, shoulder stiffness, and flushing associated with hypertension. Additionally, obesity, body swelling, and symptoms of constipation may occur. These symptoms suggest the need for weight management, blood pressure control, and improvement of bowel activity. It is recommended to engage in adequate exercise, dietary adjustments, and the use of medication when necessary for overall health improvement. This medication helps to relieve symptoms of hypertension, obesity, swelling, and constipation.
Adults usually take 4 tablets per dose 3 times daily before or between meals.
This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as the rhubarb component contained in this medication can cause uterine contractions and increase the risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Women who are breastfeeding are also advised not to take this medication, as the components of rhubarb can be passed into breast milk and cause diarrhea in infants. While taking this medication, do not take other anti-diarrheal medications as they may interact and cause burdens to the body. Individuals who are allergic or have shown hypersensitivity to the dye ingredient Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine) should be cautious when taking this medication. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, or edema, as well as the elderly, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as it may worsen their symptoms. Patients taking other medications should also consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication, as drug interactions may occur. Those with diarrhea or loose stools, weak stomachs, or symptoms of loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication, as their symptoms may worsen. Patients who are physically weak or have become weak after illness, those who sweat excessively, and those with a history of circulatory diseases such as angina or myocardial infarction should also be cautious. Patients with urinary disorders, hyperthyroidism, or who have experienced skin rashes or itching after taking this medication should consult a professional. Diabetic patients should exercise caution, as the ephedra component included in this medication can raise blood sugar levels. This medication also contains Yellow No. 5 (Sunset Yellow FCF), so those who are sensitive to it should take precautions. If any of the following symptoms occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional: facial and limb swelling, high blood pressure symptoms, muscle weakness or spasms, indigestion, skin rash, insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, urinary issues, or liver dysfunction. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than a week for constipation, stop taking it and consult a doctor. It is generally recommended not to take this medication for a long time, and if extended usage is necessary, consult a professional. Stimulant laxatives can lose their effect and worsen constipation if taken for extended periods, so it is advisable not to continue taking them for more than a week. Always follow the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines when taking this medication, and be aware that rhubarb's effects may vary among individuals. When taking this medication along with other herbal remedies, be cautious of ingredient overlap, particularly with products containing rhubarb. Taking this medication along with ephedra, MAO inhibitors, thyroid medications, catecholamine agents, xanthine agents, etc., may lead to symptoms such as insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, or palpitations, so caution is advised. Taking this medication with potassium supplements, licorice ingredients, or diuretics may cause hypokalemia or muscle abnormalities, so it should be used cautiously. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and the container should be tightly sealed after use. Store in a safe place out of reach of children, and it is safest not to transfer the medication from its original container to another.
