Precautions

This drug contains lactose and should not be used by patients with a genetic disorder that affects lactose digestion. During the course of this medication, gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur, and serious side effects such as liver dysfunction can occasionally arise, so caution is required. If symptoms do not improve after using it for more than two weeks, long-term use should be avoided. It is recommended to take this medication on an empty stomach, as taking it with food may increase blood concentration of the drug and the risk of side effects. If taken with anticholinergics, the effectiveness of this drug may be reduced, so it is necessary to keep a gap between taking the two medications. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use it when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, and breastfeeding mothers should avoid taking it if possible and discontinue breastfeeding if necessary. Safety in children has not been confirmed and there is no experience in using it, so it is not recommended. Elderly patients should be closely monitored for renal and hepatic function decline and take appropriate measures, such as reducing the dose, in case of side effects. Keep out of reach of children, and avoid transferring the medication to other containers, as this may adversely affect its quality.
