Precautions

This medication should not be given to certain patients. For example, it may pose risks for patients who have had allergic reactions to this drug or its components, patients with orthostatic hypotension, patients with severe liver dysfunction, and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Additionally, patients with severely impaired kidney function, the elderly, or patients taking certain medications should use this drug with caution. In particular, patients taking antihypertensives, PDE5 inhibitors, CYP3A4 inhibitors, or alpha-1 blockers should be aware that interactions with this drug may lead to excessively low blood pressure. When taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness, headache, dyspepsia, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, and decreased semen volume may occur. Rarely, serious symptoms like skin rashes, itching, low blood pressure, palpitations, and priapism may appear, so it is advised to consult a doctor immediately if any unusual symptoms occur. Since blood pressure may drop sharply while taking this medication, care should be taken to rise slowly from sitting positions, and caution should be exercised during dangerous tasks such as driving or operating machinery. This medication should not be chewed or opened, and it must be taken with water. Keep it out of reach of children, and it is advisable not to change the packaging. This medication is not recommended for use in women or children, and safety and effectiveness have not been established in elderly patients with severe renal impairment. Finally, taking this medication in excessive amounts poses a risk of excessively low blood pressure, so the prescribed dosage must be strictly adhered to.
