Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

The combination therapy of Amlodipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil is used to treat essential hypertension, which is hypertension of unknown origin. These medications effectively lower blood pressure through different mechanisms, helping to dilate blood vessels and increase sodium excretion by the kidneys for blood pressure control. It is particularly suitable for patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled by existing treatments and contributes to the prevention of cardiovascular complications. Taking this combination medication can help maintain stable blood pressure and improve health.
