This medicine is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by combination therapy of Amlodipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil. It effectively controls blood pressure, helping to reduce the risk of complications arising from hypertension. It helps improve cardiovascular health by dilating blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. It assists in maintaining a healthy life when combination therapy is needed for blood pressure control.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken once daily, one tablet with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). The maximum dosage is 10/40/25 mg of Amlodipine/Olmesartan Medoxomil/Hydrochlorothiazide. Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; therefore, it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients who are allergic to this medication or its components, have certain cardiac, kidney, or liver diseases, or are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take this medicine. It is also unsafe to administer this medication to patients with excessively low blood pressure or those who are unstable after acute myocardial infarction. Patients with decreased blood volume or impaired kidney function or liver disease should be particularly cautious when taking this medication, as hypotension or changes in kidney function may occur, and their condition should be closely monitored. As this medication lowers blood pressure, dizziness or lightheadedness may occur, necessitating caution when driving or operating hazardous machinery. During treatment, electrolyte levels in the blood and kidney function should be regularly checked to confirm there are no abnormalities. Diabetic patients or those with kidney disorders should be careful not to take this medication with certain other drugs. This medication may increase the sensitivity of the skin to sunlight, so prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided, and if photosensitivity symptoms appear, consultation with a doctor is recommended. In case of overdose, severe hypotension or arrhythmias may occur, requiring immediate medical attention. Safety has not been established for children or adolescents under the age of 18, and use is not recommended. Elderly patients should start at a lower dose considering decreased kidney or liver function and other diseases, and should be closely monitored.
