Precautions

This medication may affect liver function, so if symptoms of liver dysfunction or jaundice occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. As it contains zinc, it may interfere with copper absorption, potentially leading to anemia or blood-related symptoms due to copper deficiency, so caution is needed. If rash, itching, hives, or other hypersensitivity reactions occur, discontinue the medication immediately. Gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur, so appropriate measures should be taken according to the symptoms. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication cautiously, after consulting a doctor, as the effects on the fetus have not been fully established. Breastfeeding women are advised to avoid breastfeeding since this medication may be transmitted through breast milk. Safety for children has not been established, and there is no experience in pediatric use, so it should be administered cautiously to children. Elderly individuals may have decreased gastrointestinal function, so it is advisable to reduce the dosage and observe the condition while administering. There may be interactions with other medications, so care should be taken not to take it simultaneously with particularly penicillamine or levothyroxine sodium.
