Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Patients who have had an allergy to this drug or its components, those with symptoms of orthostatic hypotension, severe liver dysfunction, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and patients with genetic lactose metabolism disorders should not take this medication. This medication should be used with caution in patients with severely impaired kidney function, elderly patients, and those taking certain antihypertensive drugs or other medications. In particular, patients taking PDE5 inhibitors, CYP3A4 inhibitors, antihypertensive medications, and alpha-1 blockers should consult their physician and be careful when administering this medication, especially if there is a history of urination syncope. Common side effects include dizziness, headaches, dyspepsia, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, and reduced seminal fluid volume. Rarely, side effects such as syncope due to blood pressure reduction, rash, itching, palpitations, liver function abnormalities, and priapism may occur, so any unusual symptoms should be reported to the medical staff immediately. This medication can lower blood pressure, so care should be taken to avoid overdose, and it is advisable to move slowly to prevent dizziness when standing up. This medication is for symptom relief rather than causal treatment, so if no effect is observed, other treatment methods should be considered. Caution is advised when driving or operating machinery due to symptoms such as dizziness that could lead to accidents. This medication may cause small pupil syndrome during certain ophthalmologic surgeries, so it is important to inform healthcare providers if surgery is scheduled. This medication can interact with other drugs, so if you are taking especially antihypertensive medications, PDE5 inhibitors, CYP3A4 inhibitors, cimetidine, or warfarin, be sure to consult with your physician or pharmacist. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take this medication, and it is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years old. In elderly patients with very poor kidney function, the safety of this medication has not been sufficiently confirmed, so caution is advised. This medication is in sustained-release form and should not be chewed. It should be taken from the PTP package. Keep out of reach of children, and it is best not to transfer to another container.
