Patients with orthostatic hypotension may experience worsening symptoms, so it should not be used. Patients with severely impaired liver function may have increased drug concentration, so it is best not to administer. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. Patients with severe renal impairment should use this medication with caution due to the risk of increased drug concentration. Elderly patients need special attention while using this medication. Patients currently taking other medications that lower blood pressure or PDE5 inhibitors should be cautious due to a higher risk of side effects such as hypotension. In principle, this medication should not be used together with alpha-1 blockers, but it should be used carefully if absolutely necessary. Patients with a history of urination syncope should also be cautious when administering this medication. Side effects such as dizziness, headache, dyspepsia, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort may occur, most of which are mild symptoms. Occasionally, symptoms like skin rash, itching, decreased blood pressure, and palpitations may occur, and if any unusual symptoms arise, immediate consultation with a physician is advised. Rarely, serious side effects like priapism may occur, so immediate treatment should be sought if symptoms persist. Care should be taken not to overdose while taking this medication, especially when standing up, as blood pressure may drop and cause dizziness, so it is recommended to move slowly. This medication is not a curative treatment but is used for symptom relief; if ineffective, other treatment methods should be considered. When driving or operating machinery, caution should be exercised as dizziness may be experienced. This medication should be taken whole and not chewed or crushed, and it should be stored out of reach of children.
