This medication is effective for heart-related conditions including hypertension and angina. It is used specifically for the treatment of myocardial ischemia caused by the narrowing or spasm of the coronary arteries, which leads to insufficient blood supply to the heart. It also helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina and lower the risk of coronary artery revascularization in patients recently confirmed to have coronary artery disease through angiography, who do not have heart failure or have an ejection fraction greater than 40%. Overall, it is used to improve cardiovascular health and prevent related complications.
