Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, dyspepsia, diarrhea, and abdominal bloating have been reported, and if symptoms are severe, consult a physician. This drug may interact with other medications, so caution should be exercised, especially when taken with penicillamine or levothyroxine sodium to avoid concurrent usage. Pregnant women or those who could become pregnant should use this medication only when the benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety during pregnancy has not been established.
