This medication is used to alleviate symptoms of inflammation associated with swelling and to reduce swelling that occurs after trauma or surgery.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

As Bromelain, take 45-90 mg once, 3 times a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Children's dosage

Children over 12 years: As Bromelain, take 45-90 mg once, 3 times a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe blood coagulation disorders, such as hemophilia. Patients with severe liver disease or kidney disease, especially those on dialysis, should also avoid this medicine. The risk of bleeding may increase when used in conjunction with anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors, so they should be avoided. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use this medication, as its safety has not been established. This medication is also not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it.
