View approved original text

This medicine helps to reduce elevated triglyceride levels in patients with endogenous hypertriglyceridemia. It can be used alone for hypertriglyceridemia (type IV) or prescribed in combination with statins for patients with mixed hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia (type IIb). It is particularly effective in patients whose triglyceride levels are not well controlled. This drug acts as an adjunct to dietary therapy to improve blood lipid levels. Depending on the patient's condition, it can be administered alone or in combination to aid in the management of blood lipids, making it effective for the treatment of hyperlipidemia.
