Additionally, it is effective in reducing the risk of hospitalization due to angina and coronary vascular procedures in patients with confirmed coronary artery disease without heart failure or with an ejection fraction of over 40%. These effects help maintain cardiovascular health and prevent the occurrence of complications.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer 5 mg of amlodipine orally once daily, which may be titrated up to a maximum of 10 mg per day according to the patient's response. Adjust dose according to age and symptoms.

Child dose

The effective oral dose of amlodipine for blood pressure reduction is 2.5 mg to 5 mg once daily. Doses exceeding 5 mg per day have not been studied in pediatric patients.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or similar class of drugs, nursing women, patients with severe liver dysfunction, patients with severe aortic stenosis, and patients in a state of shock should not receive this medication.
