Precautions

Patients who regularly consume three or more alcoholic beverages a day must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Heavy alcohol consumption while taking this medicine or other analgesics can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events, such as heart attacks or strokes. This risk may be higher with increasing doses and longer duration of use, so it should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary. If cardiovascular symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, or speech difficulties occur during treatment, consult a doctor immediately. Additionally, serious gastrointestinal issues such as perforation, ulcers, and bleeding may occur. This is particularly important for the elderly or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease, and symptoms like epigastric pain, indigestion, black stools, or vomiting should prompt immediate medical attention. This medication should not be administered to patients with certain allergic reactions or severely impaired liver, kidney, heart function, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those with inflammatory bowel disease. Patients with liver or kidney function impairments, hypertension, asthma, heart failure, diabetes, etc., should exercise particular caution when taking this medication and have their health status regularly monitored as directed by their physician. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur during treatment, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery. Since this medicine is metabolized in the liver, it may affect liver function; thus, symptoms of liver dysfunction should be reported to a physician immediately. Moreover, this medication may raise blood pressure or worsen existing hypertension, so regular blood pressure monitoring is recommended. There may be interactions with other drugs, so consult a doctor especially when taking antihypertensives, diuretics, anticoagulants, or antidepressants. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women should not take this medication, and if pregnancy is confirmed during treatment, it should be discontinued immediately. Breastfeeding women should also either discontinue feeding or consult a doctor if taking this medication. The safety for children and adolescents has not been established, so use is not recommended. For long-term use of this medication, regular blood tests and liver and kidney function assessments are necessary, and any unusual symptoms should be reported to a physician promptly. In case of overdose, symptoms such as lethargy, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain may appear, requiring immediate medical intervention. Finally, this medication should be kept out of the reach of children, and transferring to other containers should be avoided.
