Antipyretic effect for fever due to acute upper respiratory tract infection
This medication is used to effectively lower fever caused by acute upper respiratory tract infections.
Children over 6 months of age should take a dose of 0.4–0.6 mL/kg (5–7 mg/kg as dexibuprofen) every 4–6 hours as needed, not exceeding a maximum of 4 times per day (28 mg/kg)
This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day. This is because those who frequently consume alcohol may have an increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding while taking this medication. This medication may affect the cardiovascular system, increasing the risk of serious cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Particular caution should be exercised by individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors, and cardiovascular symptoms should be closely monitored in consultation with a doctor. This medication may cause serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation, hence individuals with a history of gastrointestinal diseases or the elderly should be especially careful. Immediate treatment is necessary if gastrointestinal symptoms occur. Individuals with a history of peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, liver impairment, kidney impairment, heart failure, hypertension, those allergic to any ingredient in this medication, and asthma patients should not take this medication. Those with a history of peptic ulcer disease, blood disorders, liver impairment, kidney impairment, high blood pressure, and the elderly should be closely monitored and dosage adjusted if necessary when taking this medication. This medication may rarely cause various side effects including shock, blood disorders, gastrointestinal issues, skin rashes, liver dysfunction, asthma attacks, visual impairment, neurological symptoms, and kidney problems. If any unusual symptoms occur, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is required. This medication should be used at the minimal effective dose for the shortest duration possible, and regular blood tests along with assessments of liver and kidney function are required with prolonged use. Co-administration with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, alcohol, and certain medications may increase the risk of side effects, thus caution is advised during combination therapy. This medication should not be taken during pregnancy, especially in the late stages, and if breastfeeding, lactation should be interrupted or the use of the medication should be stopped, as the drug may be passed to the baby through breast milk. Children and the elderly should use the minimum effective dosage with special care and monitor for adverse reactions closely. In cases of overdose, immediate emergency measures such as gastric lavage or inducing vomiting should be undertaken, and this medication should be kept out of reach of children.

Do not use this medication in conjunction with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Consult your doctor or pharmacist when using together with glucocorticoids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, diuretics, antihypertensives, ACE inhibitors, furosemide, aspirin, lithium, methotrexate, or anticoagulants of the coumarin class.
This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that is not exposed to light. Additionally, it's important to maintain room temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius when storing the medication to preserve its effectiveness and safety.
