Additionally, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, or severe renal failure should avoid taking it. During the course of this medication, specific drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracyclines, and antacids should not be taken together. Anyone receiving medical treatment, children exposed to plenty of sunlight, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, premature infants, and young children must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Individuals with heart or circulatory issues, renal impairments, hypoalbuminemia, those taking specific heart medications, or with a history of kidney stones should also seek advice before usage. Overdosage may lead to gastrointestinal symptoms, heart problems, swelling, etc., and prolonged use may result in hypercalcemia or stone formation, so caution is needed. Caution is also required when taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, as this may increase blood potassium levels. It is recommended to avoid consuming tannin-containing beverages like green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication.
