Megoctyl Tablet 40 mg (Octylonium Bromide)

Adult dose

As Octylonium Bromide, orally administer 40 mg once, 2-3 times daily. Adjust accordingly based on age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in certain patients. First, patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication should avoid taking it. Additionally, this medication contains lactose and should not be used by patients with genetic disorders that cause lactose intolerance. Examples include galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption. Caution is advised when using this medication in patients with glaucoma. Furthermore, patients who have experienced allergic or hypersensitive reactions to the colorant Yellow No. 5 contained in this medication should also take it with caution.

This medication should be stored in an airtight container, and it is best kept at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Storing it this way helps maintain the effectiveness of the medication and prevents degradation.
