Samsung Octylonium Tablets (Octylonium Bromide)

Adult dose

For Octylonium Bromide, take 40 mg orally 2 to 3 times a day. Adjust dosage according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in certain patients. First, it should not be administered to patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication. Second, since this medication contains lactose, it should not be used in patients who genetically cannot properly digest lactose. Such genetic issues include galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption. Additionally, caution is needed when using this medication in patients with glaucoma. Finally, since this medication contains a pigment called Yellow No. 5, patients who have had allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this component should use it with caution.

This medicine should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air exposure, and it is recommended to store it at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage maintains the efficacy of the medication and prevents degradation.
