This medication is used for patients who require the simultaneous administration of telmisartan and rosuvastatin. Telmisartan is effective in treating essential hypertension and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and mortality due to cardiovascular disease in high-risk patients. Rosuvastatin lowers cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, helping to delay the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, rosuvastatin is used to reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and recurrence after vascular interventions in middle-aged patients with cardiovascular risk factors. Therefore, this medication improves cardiovascular health by managing hypertension and hyperlipidemia together.
