This drug is used for patients who need to take both Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin. Telmisartan primarily helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death from cardiovascular diseases in patients over 55 years old with essential hypertension and a high risk of cardiovascular disease. Rosuvastatin lowers cholesterol levels and delays the progression of atherosclerosis in patients with various dyslipidemias, including hypercholesterolemia, when diet and exercise alone are insufficient. Additionally, it is effective in reducing the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction in middle-aged individuals with cardiovascular risk factors and lowers the risk of recurrence after vascular interventions. The combination of both drugs treats hypertension and hyperlipidemia simultaneously and improves cardiovascular health.
