Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had an allergic reaction to its components. This medication contains lactose, so patients with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. Patients with poor liver function should use this medication cautiously as blood concentration may increase. There is limited experience with this medication in patients with serious heart or cerebrovascular problems, so it should be administered with caution. Elderly patients may have prolonged elimination of this medication due to reduced liver function, increasing the risk of elevated blood concentration. Caution should be exercised when taking this medication with antihypertensives or certain vasodilators, as blood pressure may drop significantly. Patients with orthostatic hypotension should be cautious as symptoms may worsen after taking this medication. Symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, and hypotension may occur; therefore, caution is advised when driving or working at heights. If liver dysfunction or symptoms of jaundice occur, stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical attention. Although rare, there may be cases of loss of consciousness due to excessively low blood pressure, so consult medical personnel immediately if symptoms occur. If allergic symptoms such as rash, itching, or hives appear during treatment, discontinue the medication. Overdosing on this medication can lead to excessively low blood pressure, so it is essential to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, and take it directly from the packaging to prevent esophageal damage. This medication is a symptomatic treatment, so alternative treatment options should be considered if it is not effective.
