This medication is used to relieve symptoms caused by excessive stomach acid, including gastrointestinal discomfort such as heartburn and reflux.
For individuals aged 16 and older, take 1 tablet (10mg) once, up to 2 tablets (20mg) per day.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who have previously experienced an allergic reaction to this medication's ingredients or other H2 receptor antagonists. Additionally, since it contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic digestive disorders should not take this medication. If you have difficulty swallowing food, experience pain, vomit blood, or have bloody stools, you must consult a doctor or pharmacist. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than three months, or if symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, or cold sweats occur, it is necessary to consult a healthcare professional. If you experience shortness of breath or frequent chest pain along with chest or shoulder pain, you should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If there are unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, you should consult an expert immediately. Patients taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, with a history of drug allergies, those with kidney or liver function problems, heart disease, elderly patients, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult with an expert before taking this medication. This medication may interact with certain antifungal drugs or some anticancer drugs, so caution is required when taken together. If your symptoms worsen or unusual reactions occur while taking this medication, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Adverse reactions may include allergic symptoms, blood disorders, skin rashes, liver function abnormalities, muscle pain, heart problems, neurological symptoms, gastrointestinal problems, kidney problems, and respiratory symptoms. This medication may conceal symptoms of stomach cancer, so it is recommended to use it for a short duration for symptom relief.
