This medication is used for the treatment of moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be administered orally once daily, at the same time every day. If needed, it can be given twice daily. Adult dosage increase method: - First week (days 1-7): Administer 5 mg once daily for 7 days. - Second week (days 8-14): Administer 10 mg once daily for 7 days. - Third week (days 15-21): Administer 15 mg once daily for 7 days. - From the fourth week: Administer 20 mg once daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to any of its ingredients. It is also safe not to administer it to patients with severely impaired liver function or very poor kidney function. Patients with epilepsy or those who have experienced seizures in the past, as well as individuals with a predisposition to epilepsy, should use this medication very cautiously. Additionally, taking this medication in combination with other drugs that have similar effects can exacerbate central nervous system side effects, so concurrent use should be avoided.
