Adult dose

Before administration, an appropriate lipid-lowering dietary regimen must be implemented, and it should continue throughout the treatment period. This medication should be taken with meals to avoid gastrointestinal disturbances. For hypertriglyceridemia, the usual initial dose is 2g per day, which may be increased to 4g per day if necessary. Administer once or twice a day.

This medication should not be used by individuals with allergies to any of its components or by children under the age of 18. Patients with a high risk of bleeding, such as those with severe trauma or undergoing surgery, those with impaired liver function, or those allergic to fish should exercise particular caution when using this medication. Some patients may experience side effects, such as dyspepsia, belching, skin rash, dizziness, or headaches during treatment. Rarely, various adverse reactions including heart-related issues, respiratory symptoms, and myalgia have been reported, so if symptoms are severe, consult a physician immediately. This medication may affect blood clotting, so bleeding risk must be monitored when taken with anticoagulants or aspirin. Pregnant women should take this only if necessary, under the physician's judgment, as safety for the fetus has not been established. Breastfeeding women should also exercise caution as it is unclear whether this medication is excreted in breast milk. This medication is not recommended for children as safety and efficacy have not been fully established. Particular caution is needed for the elderly, although generally, there is not much difference for patients under 60 years of age. Regular blood tests should be performed during treatment to monitor liver function and lipid levels, and it can be discontinued if no therapeutic effect is seen. In case of overdose, appropriate treatment should be received according to symptoms, and it should be kept out of reach of children. Also, transferring this medication to another container should be avoided as it may adversely affect quality and safety.

Hives, severe swelling (edema), tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, peeling skin, pain in oral/eye mucosa, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attack, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy, sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion of consciousness, visual disturbances, paralysis, urination
